The Red Wing 8011 Munson Ranger is a former Red Wing Japan exclusive and then became exclusively available to the European Red Wing Shoe stores too. The Red Wing Shoes 8011 Munson Ranger dates back to 1912. The original Munson last was developed by Dr. Munson, a Major at the Medical Dept. of the U.S. Army. It took Dr. Munson 4 years to measure the feet of 2000 soldiers in order to find the perfect last. Until today the Munson last is part of the official U.S. Military footwear. The Red Wing 8011 Munson Ranger is made from a special White Ash Settler leather and the boot has a subtle brogue detail on the toe-cap. The Red Wing Munson Ranger has a strong Nitrile Cork Sole.
